Hopefully it does. However the scumbag that filed the lawsuit will come back and try to find something else to sue about. That's how he makes a living.

He actually lost a suit not long ago. I remember the judge in that case got so POed that he scolded this scum and had the bailif escort him out when he refused to leave the court room after he lost the case.
Hopefully, if this goes to court, the lift gets put in and this scum loses ANOTHER suit!

200 empty disabled spots in front of walmart not enough for this jackass?

I love those blue markers in the parking lot... because I know its a good place to leave my shopping cart

All you people are lame and obviously have no physical disabilities - just mental ones. I'm surprised it took this long to sue over access. How was this guy to know that the party would be upstairs? I've attended b-day parties there and they were downstairs. People with disabilities shouldn't be denied access at these places just because they are disabled. I'd like to say I hope you all find yourself during a family members wedding, b-day party, or special occassion - and because of your disability you couldn't attend, but then I'd be as ignorant as you. Oops, just said it - at least my statement makes sense!
Thanks Derrick

Been there...two strong family members lifted my cousins chair up the stairs and she had a great time. She did not complain and she did not sue the place. She did not sue the person who hit her head on an put her in the chair. She does not set out to ruin other peoples lives becasue of her disability. She still enjoys life and does not try to make others pay for what happened to her, unlike some people! Time to get over it and live your life instead of being angry forever.

Finally some good news. I hated to think of all those kids not having a place to play their basketball. Hope this works out.

Kind of funny how 1 person can sue for not having access so it then takes away access from hundreds if not thousands. Just doesn't seem right that 1 bad apple can have such power.

The family that organized the party and invited the disabled relative should have requested in advance that BBTown reserve an accessible first floor room before agreeing to the rental of the space... end of story. The upstairs party rooms DO NOT not have to be accessible if the facility has similar first floor party rooms for rent, which it does.

It is great to hear the there will still be a place for the many children who have the opportunity to stay out of the streets and play the game they so dearly love. We need to focus on the future generations and how we can make sure they make it through all the violence that is out there. I cant wait until the location is open once more and children can play and laugh as they learned how to be better citizens....

I wonder how the "birthday boy" feels about his uncle closing down the place he loves so much that he wanted his birthday party there. Hopefully Uncle Lawsuit doesn't get invited to anymore family events!

This lawsuit on wheels did not miss the party. Basketball town moved the party down stairs so ALL could enjoy the party. It would not surprise me is the jerk set this up to happen. He has had other lawsuits out there. What comes around goes around and I hope he burns down under for this. Both of my kids have played AAU basketball for many years and they will miss basketball town.
