Court to use video in initial hearings
Superior Court I Judge Bruce Markel said that will cut travel time transporting prisoners from the Jackson County Jail in Brownstown to his court in Seymour. He said most of the misdemeanor cases in his court are resolved in the initial hearing.

Community theater to perform comedy
Jackson County Community Theatre's production of "The Dixie Swim" Club will be at 7:30a p.m. today and Saturday at Royal Off-the-Square Theatre, 121 W. Walnut St., Brownstown.
