Halliburton is currently in negotiations with the Brownfield Industrial Development Corp. and several taxing entities for incentives and abatements to move from its current location on the southwest side of town to a 100-acre site north of Brownfield.

Historic wedding memorabilia unveiled in Brownfield exhibit

"Weddings Through the Decades" - a temporary exhibit that opened to the public on Tuesday, June 4 - features 12 mannequins dressed in wedding or attendant gowns that were worn by brides and wedding attendants as early as 1880 and as late as the 1970s.
