Severe thunderstorm warning until 11:15

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Jefferson County and southwestern Blount County until 11:15 a.m. The National Weather Service at 10:46 a.m. detected a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing penny-sized hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph.
