Bridgeport tree-lighting set for Dec. 5

The annual downtown Christmas tree-lighting ceremony will take place on Dec. 5 at 4 p.m., officials announced late Wednesday.

who remembers main street growing up and east main street with all the decorations, dont even have to remember that far back who remembers beardsley park light, bpt suxs

The tree lighting on McLevy Green is a nice event and it looks so nice. Kids of all ages love it. I'm wondering why its on a Saturday this year, usually all the downtown workers like going over to see it when they get off work.
