At approximately 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, Baxter County Sheriff's Office responded to a disturbance on Bonnie Lassie Lane in Briarcliff, where Steven Michael Bass, 24, was arrested for cruelty to animals, a Class A misdemeanor and violation of a protection order, a Class A misdemeanor, according to Sheriff John Montgomery.
