U got to B kidding. Moore is a do-nothing joke. He has done nothing as a Delegate NOT on duty and he has left every office he ever supervised in shambles. Then he snuck around and took another county commission employee's job by working behind the scenes with commissioners Dirty Ray and Nozzle Nozzle Nose Courtalessi to get the position. He campaigned for Dirty Ray and sucked up big time to end up with the job. Moore needs to remember that what goes around comes around and he will surely fall on his perverted ass. Moore is dirty and he's had a lot of practice sucking up. He's doomed to fail. Now he's sending out letter to county employees telling them to step up to the plate and make the county better. When is he ever going to take his advice and do the same? In the legislature he was on the committee to decide how the state would spend the stimuls money and guess what McDowell County got? A big fat nothing, other then money that the BOE and dept of highways would have would have received anyway. He lies ever brath, doesn't return phone calls and does nothing for nobody and U R stupid enough to call him good. Just shows how informed U R. Keep your eyes on suck up Moore and U will see that it is true.

I am also disappointed. I don't understand for the life of me, why these crooks keep getting into office. If I had one wish for McDowell County, it would be for us to have good, honest, hard-working people running this county instead of what we have now. Also, some of the mayors in these small towns need to be removed. A lot of them are taking money from the town funds for their own personal use. That in itself is bad enough, but to make it worse, these mayors won't do anything to improve our towns. It's sad the way things are handled here in this county. No wonder we can't get any stimulus money or any other kind of government grant money.

The only thing he ever starts is a pile of trouble. After a while, Moore's slacker personality always comes out. How can he help the county when he will be gone 4 to 5 months out of the year at the legislature? Look for Nozzle Nose Judy and Dirty Ray to give Moore a big raise next year, despite the fact that he'll only be there half the time. All three of them are dingleberries who deserve each other.

now i talk alot of bullshit and cosider myself some what of an expert buttttt! i read this-----
I guess the county manager is almost like being the executive director or chief administrative office of any agency,” Moore said.“You work for a board, and in this case I work for the will and pleasure of the County Commission, and conduct those activities and executive functions that will hopefully result in a more effective county operation and services to the people of the county

Give Cliff his due, he help the Head Start program in the county and hurted, through his time CSM... He was one of many responsible for bringing public transportation back to McDowell County with BAT... His little housing project that he got done up Gary for disable people...
Otherwise look at his failures so far the toll hike!! The Bunkingham apartments that he pointed out in his Blueprint for the county in his first election bid had went little or no where, and the finical trouble of many agencies he had worked with...
But also let just say the County Manager job could be beneifical and could hurtful to the whole county.. The bright thing he's full of ideas, the shady side he's can make soemthing look good even if it isn't...

I would like to see you run for some County job.You know a lot of whats going on,and must say that you do show a lot of interest in the county.and that means a lot.seems like you are interested in the best for Mcdowell County, and that is something that a lot of the elected officals dont do.some of them are there for just their paycheck, and truthfully, could care less about what happens in the county.I find your post and thoughts very interesting, and feel that you care enough for the people and the county real interesting, and thats what it takes to run the county.the county needs more elected people that will do things for the county, and not be there to tear down whats left.thats whats wrong now,so many that could care what happens, because most have plans on leaving McDowell County as soon as they retire.McDowell County needs more careing people,in and out of public offices, and I feel people like you would make the difference in helping McDowell Co.Have you ever considered running for office?

His failures are vast. They are culminated disasterously in our lack of stimulus money. Cliff Moore sat upon the committee that appropriated those funds. For me, even if possessing of an otherwise stellar political record (which he does not), that alone should dictate his removal from office. He was in a key position to secure somthing of great significance for his constituents and he failed. All this, however, is directly related to his job as delegate.

I wish Delegate Moore the best. He has all my support while in office in any task that is intended to benefit this county. However, come next election- I will support his opposition adamently, assuming they possess half a brain.

You don't have the knowledge you claim on the stimulus. That money was earmarked for certain projects. None of which, McDowell County was ready for. Why aren't you on Rep Rahall? Sens. Byrd or Rockefeller? They are the ones that put that package together and voted for it. Was Del Moore in Washington? NO. That money was earmarked LONG before it got to the State, let alone the County.

Why is Deg Moore your whipping boy? Be honest for one time, tell these people what your real motives are. Your just a butt boy for Gordon. Fess, up Rock, you like it when Gordon strokes your ego. And God knows how big that it.

BTW, if the opposition does have half a brain, they would twice as smart as you. Did Gordon tell you who the oppositon (Ed Evans) would be? Wow, another Board of Education idiot. If he is such a great teacher, why are our children NOT prepared for college?

It seems to me that ED EVANS is a good teacher and is so good that he is the one that was just voted the TOP SCIENCE TEACHER OF THE YEAR there dodo. Why do you all continue to stick your foot in your mouth ? Ed is one of the best teachers in the country and has always placed education before your silly little games. GOOD JOB COACH EVANS some of us appreciate you and thank you for what you do for our children.
