Charges Filed In H.S. Football Player's Death After Party
Charges have been filed against a number of people - including a father and son - in connection to the death of a Dawson teenager who fled an underage drinking party and died of hypothermia , the Lac qui Parle County Attorney's Office announced Monday.
Coroner: Anyasike died of hypothermia
The Lac qui Parle County coroner says Michael Anyasike, the Dawson-Boyd standout football player who was reported missing about 12 hours after sheriff's deputies responded to a drinking party at a farm near Madison the morning of March 9, died that day of hypothermia due to environmental exposure.

Leonard D. Skaalen, of Harmony, Minn. passed away peacefully at Harmony Community Healthcare on January 17, 2014 at the age of 93. Leonard was born on July 1, 1920 to Knute and Christine Skaalen in Boyd, Minn., the youngest of eight children.
