New USCG Rule for Lifesaving Devices
The U.S. Coast Guard published a final rule aligning its regulations with the 2010 Coast Guard Authorization Act. Before 2010, certain uninspected commercial vessels including barges and sailing vessels fell outside the scope of the statute requiring the Coast Guard to regulate lifesaving devices on uninspected vessels.
Gabadi is First Outfitter Licensed by GTT
On the occasion of SMM in Hamburg, Gaztransport & Technigaz and Gabadi S.L. have signed a Technical Assistance and License Agreement , making Gabadi the first outfitter licensed by GTT. Gabadi received its outfitter's approval after successfully completing the qualification process including dedicated training of its employees by GTT and after having demonstrated their ability to build modules of all type of GTT membrane containment systems.
