A hot air balloon landed in the 10-acre yard of Warren and Sharon Ouwenga in Woodhaven Subdivision in Bourbonnais just off of the 3000 west road around 7 p.m. on Monday, July 21. The pilot, Patrick Brouillet, a Kankakee resident, was looking for a flat area to land and noticed a very flat mowed area.
