Humane Society & Bourbon Vet Offer Low Cost Vaccine Clinic
The Marshall County Humane Society and Bourbon Veterinary Clinic will be offering a low cost vaccination clinic on Saturday, September 20th. The clinic will be held at the Humane Shelter at 11165 13th Road, the southwest corner of US 31 and 13th Road from noon until 2 p.m. Participants will be served on a first come first serve basis.
County Council Conducts Non-Binding Budget Reviews of Township Budgets
Monday morning members of the Marshall County Council conducted non-binding reviews of the budgets for the townships within the county, libraries and town boards. As part of that review they also looked at the budgets of the various schools in the county although they only approve the budget for Argos because it is the only school board left that is appointed rather that elected.
Chili or Ham & Beans for DI in Bourbon

August Jail Report
The Top Ten offenses for citizens being booked into the Marshall County Jail were number 10 Public Intoxication, number 9 Domestic Battery, 8th Probation Violation, 7th Battery and 6th Marijuana. The top five reasons are fifth - Theft, 4th was Failure to Appear, 3rd was Driving While Suspended, 2nd was Operator Never Licensed and the number one reason in August 2014 was Operating While Intoxicated.
David A Doll - 59 - Bourbon
David A. Doll, 59, a resident of Bourbon, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 12:37 P.M. at home. David was born the son of Paul and Betty Doll at Logansport, Indiana on September 6, 1954.
City Approves Memorandum for Brownfield Assessment Coalition
On Monday the Plymouth Common Council approved a memorandum of agreement between the City of Plymouth, the Town of Bourbon and Marshall County for the Brownfield Assessment Coalition.
