Third grade students at LaFayette school in Bound Brook learned how to plant a tree, placed soil around the tree's roots and watered the newly planted tree in the school playground on Arbor Day.

SOMERVILLE - As jurors today found James Ford guilty of murder for the gang-related shooting of Damian Williams, Williams' cousin, Ainsworth Minott, burst into tears.
