Boulder ACLU wants Tasers holstered, cites heart attack risk

The Boulder Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union is asking police in that city to stop using Tasers after the stun gun's manufacturer admitted that, in rare cases, they can cause heart attacks .

Great idea. The police should just go back to shooting dangerous criminals with real guns.

in boulder, the cops use their tasers far far far more often than they would EVER use a gun. people get tazed WAY too often here, simply because the pigs feel like they can resort to controlling people with 50K volts since it is "non lethal" ( which is bullshit). a hammer for every problem i suppose.
