April 11
A woman on Hop Canyon Road in Magdalena reported at 1:40 p.m. that she had walked out to pick up her mail when her neighbor's dogs came out at her. She said the dogs growled at her and one of them, a brown brindle, went behind her and nipped the inside of her knee. She had two small bruises. The officer attempted to contact the dogs' owner but had no contact. It was noticed that there were nine dogs on the property and they were free to roam.
April 14
* An officer was asked by neighbors at 3:30 p.m. to do a welfare check on a woman on Troy Street who had not been seen since January. The officer entered the residence and found the woman deceased. O.M.I. was called and next-of-kin notified. Read more
