The sun is shining, there are a few clouds in the warming sky, and over on a perfectly manicured lawn is a family of four enjoying a fantastic morning.

It was a town hall meeting in Borger but parents weren't invited. Several students showed up at the Hutchinson County Aluminum Dome for the Teen-2-Teen Town Hall Meeting to learn more about the dangers of K-2. A new law is on the books in Borger but use of the banned substance isn't going down.

The town hall meeting will be led by teen leaders in Hutchinson County and be targeted for junior high and high school age youth.

A strong cold front came through the region Wednesday morning, bringing with it low temperatures and a shout-out on Twitter from Matt Drudge of "The Drudge Report." Amarillo had an overnight low of 33 degrees, with lows of 34 degrees in Borger, 32 degrees in Dalhart, 31 degrees in Dumas and 33 degrees in Hereford, the weather service said.

No injuries were reported in multiple structure fires over the weekend in Borger, said Fire Marshal Jerry Langwell of the Borger Fire Department.
