ShopRite of Bordentown has plans to expand, take over vacant Bradlees, mayor says

BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP - ShopRite on Route 206 has plans in the works to expand next-door and take over the Bradlees store that has sat vacant for years, Mayor Stephen Benowitz said Friday, though he cautioned that no formal plans have been filed. "It's something that when you're talking about commercial development, I've always wanted to see," he said about the redevelopment of the site.

Single-stream recycling begins for several Burlington County towns

Convenient single-stream recycling will begin today for residents of Bordentown City, Bordentown Township, Chesterfield, Fieldsboro, Florence and Mansfield as the program expands in Burlington County. Additional recycling carts may be ordered by emailing or calling the county recycling office, but their carts may not arrive until the end of November, district recycling coordinator Ann Moore said.
