To help students provide students with an education. One day they will run everything. One of them might be your doctor one day.

Pissed off, did your children go to public schools? If they did, do you think that the taxes you paid up until and through their time in the public school system covered the cost of their education? No, of course it did not!!! Get my point--there were a lot of folks paying taxes in order for YOUR child to have an education--some of those taxpayer probably never had a child or one that went through the system. Are they on here bitching? No--count your blessings and pay your taxes!

Wings has nothing at all to do with your assessment. It is funded from federal sources, so it's our income tax that funds it.

con games to get more money for that.people in holmes county should take more notice about these things.they sent out a notice
of increase in taxes and how many do you think read that? a lot are old and dont understand it!! but it went anyway they should
be adressed with a understanding of that by some one from the (so called taxing bunch)this is what im talking about!look at your tax notice. mine shows the county saying asement one thing and state
and (LOCAL SCHOOL)somthing else ! now somthings wrong and if you can see what i see then you will understand !!!

If you are as astute as you want us to think, then rail against bus routes, 4 high schools, low enrollment schools, overcrowded schools. All of these contribute to local taxes on top of required state taxes.

That is true. Look at the revenue Washington Cty has and they don't have schools at all corners of the county...schools that graduate less than twenty every year. Plus pissed off, what does "your so called HCHS" mean. It is call Holmes County High School. I think a good school that goes beyond sports.

What's your point? If it's not Wings, bus routes, 4 high schools, low enrollment schools, overcrowded schools what is it? It's not clear you have a point besides not wanting to pay taxes because your children have graduated. This is the Wings topic. The program has many supporters in the local communities. Unsupervised kids are not roaming streets and getting into mischief.

You have no clue. They follow the same format they always do. The format is a mandate from the state. The local authority has no leeway. Check it out.

Who do I claim to be or who do yo want me to be. I just want you to understand that the WINGS program is a good program. HCHS is a good school as well...Try to open your mind and listen to Chip and see his point. That is not too much to ask.

Daily Horoscope for December 14

Scorpio

Something that's been buried comes to the surface today, triggering a change in your life. This could be quite dramatic and public, or it may happen on an inner level so that you're the only one who's fully aware of what's going on. If this is something that you've been fighting to suppress, it will be painful to have it finally exposed but you must accept that it was inevitable.
