This makes me very angry! This is a monster, Please burn her, knock her demented head into a steel wall and finally... give her a deadly drug.

We love you darling Baby Nelson

They said on the new that the Grandfather had the baby all day Sunday. My question is why was a 6week old newborn passed around to 3 different sitters in 1 day. Why was the mother not with this child. God is holding her and rocking now!

I read and re-read the telling of the death. We do not know why these things happen. You can be comforted by the fact that your child was so beautiful and so love.
My deepest condolences to you and your family @this heart rending time.
Everyone in Bogalusa offer you their deepest sympathy and open arms during this painful period.

Very true, but don't you want to know who is handling your child? Work should never be a first priority over your child. Thats what is wrong with our country we pass our children on to people who may harm them. I realize people have to pay bills etc., but people today need put the child first. I can't understand how no one could have noticed the changes in the baby sooner. I know I would have. I have raised my son alone and I would have never placed him with 3 diffrent people in one day. This woman who did this derserves hard time!

I'm a nurse. I think that's a pretty good job. I work at 1:30 in the morning, quite often in fact.

So your telling me that you would work all day and continue to work the night shift to right after having a baby. I know many of NURSES and they all work either a day shift or night. Im was just trying to get my point across that this poor baby needed her mother..(if the mother was good to her!) the baby was left in the care of 3 different people in less then a 24 hour peirod.. at one point i would think that the mother would have been off of work to keep her baby.( eveb if she were a nurse)

REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE BABY'S MOTHER WAS DOING, IT DOESN'T GIVE THIS WOMAN THE RIGHT TO ABUSE AN INNOCENT BABY. THIS BABY'S MOTHER WILL HAVE TO LIVE WITH THE FACT THAT HER DAUGHTER IS GONE, HER LITTLE LIFE WAS CUT SHORT. INSTEAD OF POINTING FINGERS AND TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THE MOTHER WAS DOING, YOU SHOULD FOCUS ON THE FACT THAT AN INNOCENT LIFE WAS TAKEN BY THE HANDS OF SOMEONE THE MOTHER THOUGHT SHE COULD TRUST.
FOR SOME IT WILL BE A HARD LESSON LEARNED, FOR OTHERS INCLUDING THE CHILDS MOTHER IT WILL BE NOT ONLY A HARD LESSON LEARNED BUT GUILT THAT SHE ENTRUSTED HER CHILD WITH SOMEONE SO CRUEL.
YOU CAN BET THAT THIS WOMAN AMY, WHO TOOK THIS INNOCENT LITTLE GIRLS LIFE, WILL PAY DEARLY FOR HER ACTIONS. PRISON IS CALLING HER NAME. AND ON TOP OF THAT, SHE IS A MURDERER AND HER JUDGEMENT DAY WILL COME SOON ENOUGH, GOD WILL REMEMBER WHAT SHE DID.
I WISH ALL THE COMFORT TO THE MOTHER AND FATHER AND FAMILY OF PRECIOUS DIANA.
not a nurse

yes, i agree.
but, this mother, she did not have a job....
sorry, work can't be used as her excuse.

i too work in the medical field and most people working in the medical field work shifts between 12 & 24 hours and almost never get off on time.
it is verry hard to juggle work & family this way.

May today be all you need it to be. May the peace of God and the freshness
of the Holy Spirit rest in your thoughts, rule in your dreams tonight, and
conquer all your fears. May God manifest himself today in ways you have
never experienced. May your joys be fulfilled, your dreams be closer and
your prayers be answered. I pray the at faith enters a new height for you; I
pray that your territory is enlarged. I pray for peace, healing, health,
happiness, prosperity, joy, true and undying love for God.
