Republican and Democrat politicians alike need to remember that they were not elected strictly by people from their party, but by people with the brains to vote for who they believe will do the best job representing ALL people. Margaret Cavanaugh should not simply be voting based strictly upon what her party -- the REPUBLICANS -- tell her is how she should vote. Ramstad was an excellent example of a Republican politician who continually was reelected because he was brave enough, and SMART enough, to think through issues and make decisions that were best for everyone… not just Republicans.
