Rush on guns and ammo puts police agencies in bind

Sounds like an episode out of Mayberry with Barney leading the panic. I say more power to the fools who are stocking up. Spend that money. Feed that fear. Ignore those facts. By the way, can any of them point to any proposed legislation that would curb gun sales or ammunition sales? Of course not. "But it could happen". Buy on, fools.

The firearms industry and their retailers seem to have a vested interest in creating a scare. They are certainly being successful. At least, it is helping a depressed economy.

The NRA is most likely raking in tons of money with their "the sky is falling" mailings as well.

I guess people just have an uneasy feeling about the President. Who can blame them he has said a lot things to make people believe he would take the guns. Right now he is pushing for the ratifacation of a treaty with the rest of the "Americas" to share a list of gun owners in this America. Why?

These dumbasses are going to sitting on a garage full of crapola in a year and wishing they had their money back.

Go ahead dummies, use your family food and school clothing budget to buy expensive guns and ammos. The problem is whatever for, what do you need all those guns for, especially dummies who know nothing about handling guns... and they end up shooting their own children or themselves accidentally. Those gun dealers are also going cheap by selling Chinese ammos, which can explode in your face once primed, in addition to carbonizing the gun bore and hard to clean.

For the police officers. No matter what you do nothing is right so instead of shooting someone to try to deter them use your one shot and make it count. Saves on ammo.

I find several large, snarling, slobbering, barking loudly, landsharks (dogs) keep most people at a distance from my house. The locked driveway and entry gates, along with a survielance system, keep those who are stupid enough to think about getting past my landsharks, at bay. Needless to say, unless we've invited someone to our home, I don't ever have uninvited company or creeps trying to get in. I have weapons for self protection away from my home but the landsharks do the job when we're at home.

Funny. A revolution is brewing in this country. You can make Common Sense preparations....Or depend upon a bankrupt oppressive government to "help" you. Americans need to realize that they will have to rely upon themselves. Supply and demand. Stimulating the economy. A free market economy rules. The problem is that we continue to over regulate business and ship manufacturing overseas.

When 'THEY' comes for their guns,'THEY' wil start by raiding the NRA and Gun Owner's of America and the other paranoid scam artists and capture the files. Then 'THEY' will raid the gun sellers and get the ammo records. Then 'THEY' will call out the Robocops and get their guns and ammo.

I agree that this is bad. But what is a business owner to do when the Chinese and Indians will work for $4 an hour and Americans will only work for $8?

As far as the "Democrat Socialists" label you used goes, I had heard of an effort by the RNC to relabel the Democratic part as that but I don't think its been voted on yet. I heard Steel was afraid that if the measure passed the DNC might retaliate and relabel the Republican Party as the Republican Nazis. Tit for tat I always say.

'Woe to those who call evil good,' but that is exactly what Democrat Socialists have done. They have distorted our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. No, those who stock up now will have plenty of equipment and ammo later, if it is really needed.

I'll always feel better knowing that I have a garage full of "crapola" to fall back on if the politicians decide to take away more of our rights.

A year ago, no one believed that the U.S. financial and manufacturing sectors would be socialized, yet under President Obama they have been.

Millions of dollars of taxpayer money was given to anti-gun groups like ACORN in the so-called "stimulus" bill, that experts now agree has created no "stimulus" whatsoever.

President Obama, while an Illinois State Senator and U.S. Senator from Illinois, has supported every anti-gun measure proposed by the legislative bodies he was a member of. President Obama's anti-gun stance is well documented.

President Obama has shown a penchant for ramming bills through the current Democrat controlled congress that would have been unthinkable a mere year ago.

Just as someone who is prepared for famine by stocking up on preservable foodstuffs feels better about doing so in case the need comes for whatever reason, the legal stocking up of firearms, ammo, and associated supplies is merely preparedness for events which could come just as swiftly as the socialization of the financial and auto industries. We now have a proven anti-gun, anti-freedom President and Congress, what more warning do we need?

No matter, really, it's our money, and we are currently still allowed to choose how to spend it.
