Local man caught in child porn snare

A 47-year-old Rabun Gap man has been charged with possessing child pornography after investigators found more than 500 images on his computer.

Black said Vanbrackle had been managing a Huddle House in Blairsville. He previously worked as a cook at Cookie Jar Cafe, which is no longer open. Former Cookie Jar owner Ron Baumes, when reached by phone, said he didn't want to comment on Vanbrackle. "I'm staying out of it," he said.
