New gallery opens in Black Mountain

Jewelry designer Dee Sharp has opened a gallery called Art from the Heart. It offers work from regional artisans whose work is not found elsewhere in Western North Carolina, including Christian-themed wood and mosaic work, bird decor, word tiles and Sharp's own sculpted jewelry designs in sterling and gold.
