Mayer Fire Chief Glenn Brown reports that the entire Western United States is expected to have a busier than normal wildfire season, according to the state Wildland Commission.

The northbound lanes of Interstate 17 north of Phoenix near Black Canyon City are reopened after a rollover accident backed up traffic for miles.

Police say search warrants were executed at homes in Phoenix and Black Canyon City on Tuesday and Friday as part of ``Operation High Tide.'' Police say the search warrant executed Tuesday resulted in the seizure of one inert shoulder-mounted rocket launcher and some 15 handguns, shotguns, bolt-action rifles and semi-automatic rifles.
