Ida Weakens To Depression, Gulf Oil Patch Recovers

Ida dwindled to a tropical depression on Tuesday after crawling ashore in Alabama from the Gulf of Mexico, and oil operations in the Gulf were returning to normal after being widely disrupted by the storm .
