A Birdsboro man was sentenced Wednesday in Berks County Court to 27 to 70 years in state prison for attempting to kill the ex-husband of his then-girlfriend, sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl and setting up a murder-for-hire plot to kill the man, his family and the girl.
