Bessemer police investigating Monday death of 22-year-old man

To start of R.I.P Lederrian Knox aka Mojo. I love you and I will miss you so much.....It is sad that you are not even in the ground yet and people have so much to say and dont even have clue whats going on. It does matter if he fell of a cliff, died from cancer, overdose, shot fifty times, got hit by a car or committed suicide. All of that is irrelevant to the point. The point is someones friend, cousin, father or son is gone. And no MR BPIN aka Mr. Statistics we dont need you to feel sorry or your damn sympathy. But what it is called is common courtesy and respect. What has our world come too.. Its so sad that we have such ignorant people that dont care about anyones life but their own. Hope you dont ever have to experience an unexpected death that touches you to the core of your soul and have someone make unkind coldhearted responses to your lost. RIP Mojo,My heart goes out to his family and love ones.Everyday he would pull up with his friends and now it seems so unreal not to see him in the car.This was unexpected and a senseless murder.Yes you(Mojo) are truly missed!!

it is very very very sad, the way our kids are killing each other.

To all of the young men and women, please stop the violence, I lost my only son to this ssme type of crime. it is useless.

Rip Mojo, you will be miss. From laughing, talking, and all the crazy times we had together we will miss you. God does everything for a reason and it was just your time. To all single mother image having to raise a 3 year old on your own when you child LOVES his father. Image having to hear your son say "that boy shot my father" image having explain to your child that he is gone to better place he is not sleep. Its not easy but God put LeDerrian Sr. in my life for a reason and bless us with a beauiful son. You will be missed and your son will always remember that he had a strong and loving father. I need support not negativity from the world because throughout this tough time I am still a strong black women not for me but for LeDerrian Knox Jr. Love always Shawnta! your only son's mother.
