Deadly drug still a mystery; Three weeks ago, a 16-year-old Bend girl ...

First off Paden is my older brother. He would never try to hurt anybody. I dont care what anyone says. I know him better than anyone. And that girl voluntary took the drug with him. All i know is the news has a way of making people out to be monsters. Yeah they both should be in alot of trouble. Drugs are very very bad. but why is my brother sitting behind bars possibly for a long time for a crime two poeple commited together. The girl chose to sneak out and do the drugs. And for her to say "i trusted hime like a brother." He never intended for her to "OD".

I can see where everyone is coming from.. i also know him very well, i used to use with him, i was with him the last time he went to prison. it doesnt matter how well anyone knows him or how we know him. what matters is that he fucked up and im sure he knows it by now. he is sick, and he needs love. i am a recovering drug addict and i did some horrible things too. what matters is that i changed my life and help others recover too. he is an addict, i used to take him to meetings and he knows where to go. the person that he is when he is using is not who he is and he has made some poor choices and i can understand that. no matter how bad you think you hate him, try to understand that he is an addict and there is a person under that. its called compassion. i love him and i hope he is desperate and wiling enough to turn his life around.

and by the way.. i got pregnant at 15 and it takes two to tango.

Thank you im glad some old friends who know him as well as me can realize how the media is portraying him as a monster, everyone makes mistakes, yeah he fucked up, but he is not a rapeist, so for all the rest of you who post shit on here about how your so tuff and he is such a piece of shit, take a look in the mirror and think about the bad shit you have done and tell me how bad you are then.

Paden is not a rapist I know this because he hasn't been able to look me in the eye and lie to me since we were 14. I also know that he knows he messed up he would tell me every time I talked to him. I got to see the tears in his eyes as he realized that there was so much he was going to miss. I miss him every day. I know my mom, cousin and nephew miss him. I know that he deserves to be there but I also know that there are too many people out there who are going to do things to send him straight back when he does get out thats why I pray that he is smart enough to get out of Bend.
