DOUBLE homicide? That assumes a fetus IS a sentient human at such a state. Whether it be true or not, that is one of the largest worldly debates. Either way, its a sad story.

He's a hot item in the news a lot. This one seems hard. But as far as following his rape case, I don't think he is guilty per se. It sounded like his mistress turned tables once his wife found out. Sure he may have, but I thought there was too much reasonable doubt in that case. But that, and now this. Nonetheless, thoughts and prayers for the sadly deceased.

I was working at the Ben Lomond Market for a couple of months when this all happen. I put up posters of the missing woman around town with Mike. He was the only person at the market who was nice to me. My heart was broken when Mike was arrested as his wife and kids used to come in all the time and they seemed like such a nice family. I don't know if he is guilty but my entire experience at BL Market was horrible. Too bad as it is a very nice little town to live in.

It must feel really creepy in retrospect, that you were with him, putting up posters for his murder victim, if indeed he is guilty of the murder. How sick. Nice family? Well, I guess first impressions don't mean much, do they.

I am NOT a "right to lifer" but at 7 months, this makes the fetus 31 weeks. As a NICU nurse, I can tell you that a baby born at 31 weeks would be perfectly viable - and they have their own little personalities at that age.

I agree with charges of double homicide.

Of course it's a double homicide, because two human beings were murdered. If we contend that an unborn child is, at any point since conception, somehow not human, we are just willfully ignorant. It is interesting to note that saying a person is not quite human, not viable, is the exact same argument Nazis used to kill Jews and slave-owners used to justify their treatment of blacks in this country. Both Jews and African Americans were considered less than fully human, which enabled their killers and oppressors to justify their actions.

To BL citizen, to imply that the family had anything to do with this shows your ignorance. Only Michael is on trial, not his family. Would you want to be condemned for the actions of your relatives?
not so sure

Actually his family his wife anyway lied to the police and gave him a false alibi. So she is not innocent!

jana oz sounds like she was on her way to being one of the people, young woman, he would prey on. McClish kind of people usually have a following. Those followers are people that get taken for a ride, a ride to disaster, but have no idea when their already on the bus.

I listened to him in court, I saw him close up, I looked in his eyes, I heard his insanity. I do believe he did the deed. I believe he would do anything that suited his will, and would never ever cop to a mistake or wrong doing. Never.
He's a bad man.
