Motorcycle accident kills Belton man
From staff reports LAMPASAS - Justin Lee Moran, 21, of Belton, died in a motorcycle accident at 12:40 p.m. Friday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 84 and Coryell County Road 130, the Department of Public Safety in Lampasas reported.

Firefighters rescued a dog Friday from a burning home in rural Bell County. The fire broke out at around 3 p.m. Friday in the utility room of the one-story home at 6271 Three Forks Road between Belton and Little River-Academy.
