2 football players suspended in possible hazing

Maybe the KSHAA should make them forfiet all football games for the rest of the year in light of good sportsmanship. Just a thought.

Beloit High School Football team is not made of up two sole players. It is made up of many hardworking wonderful students that brighten and contribute to our community. Don't let the mistakes of two teenagers be your gauge to judge an entire school/ community.

Maybe your community should read the mission statement published on your BOE's website. I have seen the "Real Beloit". You are correct not all students should be judged by this incident, but come on look at the history here.

Who are you and most importantly who are you to judge?
Leave it to man above, the times for the folks will be dealt with accordingly.

Why is it that everytime a "prep" does something all they do is get a slap on the wrist. It is because of their last names and who ever says its not is full of crap. Doing something so nasty to a freshman boy is stupid. What did he ever do to those boys. He just wanted to play football and then he get violated in the locker rooms. To me if you have to pick on little boys in the locker room you need to go see a shrink!! THAT IS NASTY! Pick on someone your own size and see if you come out on top!!! Lets get a life and stop being so childish shall we???

Not all students should be judged on this incident however something should be done about. People have been getting away with so much in that town and this should not be the same. Just because you have the right last name doesn't mean you should get away with hurting an innocent person. It's time authorities take a stand a punish the people responsible.not just the ones they feel like punishing.

Please...enough with the "right last name" comment -- it's as bad as the "boys will be boys" mentality!! When a person works hard and is fortunate it does NOT mean they lose sight of right and wrong.

they may not, but apparently their children often do.

that town is full of it, a year ago "kids" got away with destroying a home of an other student and all they did was stay out of some games boo-hoo and now they are getting away with just a slap on the wrist for something worse, 2 year probation at most and yes name does matte in that town i know that for a fact . my parents would have given me to the police if i ever did anything like that with out any help form them i made my trouble and so would have dealt with it. i did sports too and i was good really good and that does not mean that i could get away with anything.

Once again someone else is paying the price for 2. Hope hiding behind a lawyer makes you feel better juvenille deliquent. You've been a menace since childhood when are you gonna grow up and take your punishment like a "man." Shows a real lack of maturity on your parents part, too. This is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard. Freshman initiation happens at EVERY SINGLE high school. It's just part of growing up. This freshman will do the same thing as these kids did when he is a senior. It's been going on for years and will continue to happen in years to come. You people need to drop this issue and worry about more important things. Let the kids play and move on.

Beloit High School has always been a school that idolizes the preppy people with status and money. If you arent in the group you are a nobody and they will treat you like crap. Eck and Studer have crossed the line. They need to be punished by the law.

I'm not going to defend myself to anyone because when I was in high school my parents worked hard to provide a good life for me & my sibling but I do want say because my family was fortunate did NOT make me a bad person. Matter of fact, I didn't let a family "status label" single me out from others instead I treated everyone I came into contact with equally & still do to this day. Now as a parent my life hasn't changed and we live quite comfortable but you wouldn't see me or my child(ren) treating anyone with such a lack of respect like these two boys chose to do.

I personally think it doesn't matter if you have money or not to be evil to the core and treat people so badly. Whatever the individuals want to say it was (a joke or hazing) who are supporting the boys are trying to justify their bad behavior. I honestly believe they have very few supporters & actually more that would just like to see the attention on the school, football and the community over.

It's not Beloit High School that idolizes the preppy people with status and money, it's the people within the walls of the school or in the community that want to place blame on a status / label when really the status isn't what makes the person bad it's the choices in life they make that make them bad.

Too bad, everyone has the answer????? None of us know how we would react if this happened in our family. I think everyone needs take care of their business, and leave this to the law enforcement and the judge. I'm not saying the incident was right, but if you've never used bad judgement, then cast those stones...sometimes the best comments are, NO COMMENTS !!!!
