Pop star back in 'Miss Saigon' at Gateway Playhouse

The last time Gateway Playhouse produced "Miss Saigon," President George W. Bush had just declared, "Mission accomplished." Now, six years later, as Americans wind down their front-line role in Iraq, "Miss Saigon" returns with its tragic tale of another interminable war - Vietnam.

This column forgets one other comparison between Vietnam and Iraq. Iraq is another war where liberals, supported by the media, are attempting to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Hopefully, unlike Vietnam, they will not succeed.
