Roe raises a red herring. The residents north of S Country Rd don't necessarily feel they're being ignored. What she really means is the people north of Montauk Hwy. Only they aren't residents of the village. If she's so concerned with the Shinnecock Indians, go run for something in Mastic, not Bellport.

yeah I kind of agree. my sister here lives in the village just north of south country. she does not feel neglected in any way. i think people reading this are going to think of north of montauk highway, which as you said is not the village. regardless, to live north of south country but in the village, it may be "less affluent", but its still pretty affluent generally speaking. roe's family has deep history in the area and it helps, but i think horsely and everitt and going to take the seats. bellport is the perfect example of a picturesque east end village, and whoever wins will keep it that way im sure.
