Many post offices to cut holiday hours
Post offices nationwide will be open Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Many post offices in southern and central New Jersey will shorten retail lobby hours and close at noon on these dates.

A northern neighbor has come south to roost in New Jersey. A record number of snowy owls, which typically reside in Arctic Canada, have invaded mid-Atlantic states including New Jersey.
