I was born and raised in Bellaire. I now live in another state. I love my hometown, but I am embarrassed to tell anyone I lived theree because of the bad publicity. I am a mom of three boys. When I read the comment that "my twelve year old could not find her way home" it blew my mind. As a girl I would walk from 36 and Harrison St. all the way to Belview heights to see my friend Martha with no problem.And I was 12!! Bellaire is too small not to know your way around. Shame on you Bellaire. This was an inconvience, not a changed life style.
