you might be working hard to keep them out of the country, but im sorry to say that people like me who smoke pot will continue to request their services. and as long as that happens the threat of jail will always be trumped by the quick buck. its time to re-evalute the war on marijuanna and choose a path that has actual tangible benefits to society.

I agree. This so called "war on drugs" has not even put a dent in the multi billion dollar a year marijuana trade. The government needs to legalize it and put a tax on it.

Thirteen hundred pounds of low-grade Mexican schwag. No big loss for us KUSH smokers. Ontario PD could put that schwag in their pipes and smoke it for all I care.

What a waste of good herb. Imagine the good it could have done if our Gov't wasn't stuck in the '30's on this issue.

No matter how much cannabis law enforcement seizes, it's still easier for teenagers to buy than alcohol. That's because alcohol is regulated.

We are losing the war against drugs.

You know what that implies? There's a war being fought, and the people on drugs are winning it.

Hey Bozo, I don't know where you were, but from where I sat, we notice just as many coming over the border or more when Bill Clinton was in office. The coyotes didn't care either way whether our President was Bush or Clinton. They kept them coming as long as they could pay their way. And the ones coming on their own? They had a steady stream coming through both administrations. This problem was already going strong when Bush was sworn in. I don't know where you were when Clinton was president that you didn't notice this. Unless .....you were in Mexico waiting for someone to bring you over the border?

Nah, the people on drugs aren't winning. They're the biggest losers. The dealers and cartels aren't really winning either. They're losing too, but the profit is so big that even when the lose they're still winning. The users are the biggest losers. The rest of us just have to put up with all their crap.

The problem is that all they arrest them for is posession of marijuana for sale. Sales isn't that big a deal, worth the risk for most of them. They need to scale if off. Add five years for more than a pound. Add 10 years for more than 5 pounds. Add 20 years for more than 10 pounds. And add another 20 years for each increment of 5 pounds more than 10 pounds. That would help a lot. But will they do that? Probably not. That's why it's such a good risk for the guys bringing over hundreds of pounds at a time.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Pisces

If you-know-who has been getting on your nerves recently, matters will soon come to a head and force you to take drastic action. As Mars turns tail in your sixth house, you might finally lose your rag with someone at work who's been testing your patience to the limit. Stand your ground if you feel you're being messed about in some way. Clear the air if needs be, but don't create a really nasty atmosphere by throwing an eye-popping tantrum. Take care of any infections.
