Health Care Weighs on Obama's Popularity

yes.. isn't it funny how people no longer trust the LIAR??? who wants to push through a bill that steals our FREEDOM!!!

Those who think the companies pay for them think again the public pays for you as the cost is passed on whenever u boy goods and services.

I had 22 years of government health care in the Navy and it was horrible. I retired at noon time, went to work at 2pm working nights so I could look for a job that had good health care benefits. I found one in two months and retired there with great insurance to add to Medicare. Now I am confronted with a community organizer and a bunch of buffoons in Washington trying to adopt socialized medicine. None of these people have ever worked a day job. Mt two Senators are trust fund babies. My Cong Stephen Lynch voted for Cap and Trade. Now he is on the fence with helth care and will vote for it because he wants to be the new Senator from MA when Ted departs. He is on the Post Office Com and they allowed huge bonuses for the Postal Admin and the PO was given 6,255 new vehicles. What a reward for an entity that is supposed to be self-supporting quasi public-private organization. Now Cong Waxman wants to investigate the pay of insurance executives. The state of MA is going to lose at least one Cong or maybe two when the census is done. I really dont care which of them go so long as they are gone. When this government health care comes in, the jobs will be filled by hacks that will tell you too bad, you are not in the right party to get that medical treatment. Who are going to appeal to; some other hack that had more influence to get a higher paying position. They will pass the buck and the people will be out of luck. I feel for these young people who are being duped because someday they will be old and the chickens will come home to roost as Obama's pastor said. Payback is hell when you get old.

The American Indian tribes suffer from government health care now. That's why they have third world diseases and life expectancies.

So just last month this administration reinstated the "death booklet" for our Vets. This booklet was put into place under Clinton and then killed under Bush. It's a booklet with a questionare the would basically guilt our Disable Vets into ending their lives because of such things as being wheelchair bound, in a nursing home or just depressed.

So if they could have the nerve to guilt our Vets into ending their lives what makes you think this "end of life counseling" wording which is written sketchy at best in HR 3200 won't end up the same way.

Will you hear about this on the MSM? Doubt it!

Medicare is a govt program. The insurance benefits from your company are added on the goods or service as a cost Who pays? The public. Why don't u buy your own insurance or open up your own business? May be after the expreince u will be better informed.

Liberman suggests America may have to wait for healthcare reform. One can only hope that he gets what he desires, because it will just bring more and more businesses to closing.

When you work, your insurance is figured into your total pay.. You pay, it is just you dont get the money in your hand. I had a chance to work and my health care benefits would have been put in my check if I opted to take military care when I retired. All companies have to figure benefits into their pay package and a lot of other items are figured into the total cost of doing business. There is no such thing as a free lunch, you pay for everything you get when you work. When I retired< I started my own company and when my previous employer's insurance administrator told me to sign up for medicare and take an extension program, otherwise I would be dropped from their rolls. I had 30 years of substantial earnings under Social Security, so I did not get an off set. Now I am a full triple dipper. I have paid for everything I have gotten in my whole life. So I know a little about insurance.

There must be dialog for anything to change, but with the insurance co's and mopre spreading their propaganda, there will be no discussion, just fighting.

The present admin can say what they think and the insurance co's will say no---through their minions. Our gov has become as crooked as it is, in the name of the huge corporations and businesses like healthcare that have bribed them and kept them in office---even as moronic and corrupt as they can be. You do know that no matter who had come to the office this time around---except for the commie McCain, this same healthcare situation would have been raised.

It's not the 45 million or so without healthcare that are forcing this debate, but rather small businesses across America.

Yes, the lawyers will leave huge loop holes in any and all bills and they'll kill the single-payer system, but just consider, the only real change at this point is the single-payer system, with intelligent modifications, because if it doesn't happen, everything else must come down in price and I mean pre 1997 prices, because that's where American middle class stagnated and then started losing ground.

Huge house payments--insurance payments, TAXES have shot-up by 85% and the gov is proping-up the housing markets, along with banks and others, iol has shot through the roof, auto manus are making cars to break-down much sooner--with their repair services divisions skyrocketing and on and on.

However, for the single payer system to work, the lawyers must be kept out. They,--through congress have helped to corrupt our entire system all along the way.

By the way, our gov in doing the business of the fortune 500 co's in America have been forcing consolidation on all American businesses--because congress gives the bulk of our tax money to these huge corporations that then use those breaks to buy smaller businesses making pretty secure money and THEN, those smaller co's they bought are put under their umbrella and they get all the tax breaks for those co's as well.

Our gov has effectively been fully bribed by these huge co's and they can't go back to any kind of justice for American middle classers, because they would lose their precious jobs and some would be put in jail.

This consolidation and use of tax money had to be planned long ago.
