Students at Cedar Grove-Belgium Middle School raised nearly $3,000 recently to help send World War II veterans on tours of Washington, D.C. The 150 students in the seventh- and eight-grade classes collected pledges and participated in a walk/run on May 29, said teacher and event organizer Morreen Mersberger.
