Woman Identified in Hit & Run Crash
Authorities have located a woman who fled the scene of a hit and run accident. On April 16th, a motorcyclist was injured on M-44 at Whites Bridge Road in Belding after a Dodge Caravan ran a stop sign and hit the motorcycle, then kept going.

A recent tip helped police identify a 22-year-old Belding woman as the suspected driver of a Dodge Carvan who collided with a motorcyclist on April 16, then left the scene.
The Belding Police Department is asking for help in finding a missing teen. Joshua Lee Ahrens, 17, left his home sometime between 10:00pm Sunday and 6:00am Monday.

Two people are hospitalized after a fire in Ionia County. It started around 5:00a.m. at a house in the 200 block of South Front Street in Belding.
Crews were on the scene of a house fire in Belding Friday morning. We're told one person was airlifted to the hospital and that at least one other person may have been injured.
