Community honors fallen ND peace officers

One of them was Deputy Sheriff Colt Allery, who was shot and killed following the pursuit of a stolen vehicle near Belcourt in January of 2017. He mentioned that during the Dakota Access Pipeline Protests, one of our state's most difficult moments for law enforcement, not one officer was lost in the line of duty.
