Worker, 42, killed in fall at warehouse in Belcamp
A 42-year-old man died after falling from scaffolding at a Harford County warehouse today.
Authorities did not release the identity of the man, pending notification of next of kin.
The man was working for a masonry company to build a cinder-block wall inside an old appliance warehouse on Appliance Drive in Belcamp, said Sgt. Dave Betz, spokesman for Harford County Sheriff's Office.
Betz said that about 1:45 p.m., while the man was on top of the scaffolding and moving to a different part of the wall, he fell 16 to 18 feet.
