<![CDATA[RICHMOND, Ind. - Patricia A. Polson, age 79, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord, Friday, July 25, 2014, at Reid Hospital. Born August 18, 1934, in Richmond, Indiana, to Garfield and Eunice A. Worley Dixon, she was a life-long resident of Richmond. Pat was a secretary for Wayne County Emergency Management retiring after 15 years. She was a member of Fellowship Church of Richmond. Pat was a devoted Christian who loved her Lord and Savior with all of her heart. She was the friendliest person you would ever meet, she never knew a stranger. Pat had a heart of gold and her family was her pride and joy. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, camping, taking trips, and singing. She loved animals, especially her dog, Daisy Mae. Survivors include her husband and best friend, Earl Polson to whom she was married November 22, 1975; children, Larry (Peggy) Dalbey of Richmond, Danny (Debbie) Dalbey of Eddyville, Kentucky, Suzi (Larry) Lawson of Richmond, Sandy (Dale) Palmer of Richmond, Robert ( Jessica) Dalbey of Richmond, Debbie (Paul) Stevermer of Kansas City, Missouri, Susan (Frank) Cervone of Kettering, Ohio, and Katrina (David) Ray of Beech Grove, Indiana; she was "Grandma Pat" to 17 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and three sisters. Visitation for Pat will be from 5 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Pastor John Maples officiating. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.
