Cookeville Woman Arrested For Husband's Stabbing Death

It seems like their could be a law or something like a restraining order the Law Enforcment can have issued on Both Man and Woman to keep them from seeing, dateing and having a relationship with each other. Say like if the law had been called on them so many times for domestic situations. Seems like they could be made to seperate and have to stay seperated, for their own protection from each other. And for the sake of the children. And only be around if supervised. My mother was shot and killed by my stepdad when i was a teenager. They had had many violent situations where the law had been called. I think a law like this if created could save many lives and keep a lot of children from haveing to go through bad things like this. I feel so sorry for the children. May God be wit them.

A similar restraining order to the one you mentioned was issued after she stabbed him the first time. And both were arrested when the cops caught word they were together... I don't know if somehow they had the restraining order removed or what but... it didn't stop them.

Neither one of them were innocent but only one of them is a murderer

please pray for these two little girls. this is something they have to live with for the rest of their lives. i am also family. i knew both of them. toney was no saint,and she is not one either. their was alot of abuse to toney that he would not report to the law. yes he was stabed 18mo. ago, she has stabed him in the hand,she has hit him on the head with an a-1 steak sauce bottle, she has burned him, she ran over him with her car,even her father who had been drinking at the time beat the hell out of toney, she also hit him with a shovel.she has took a knivf and flatened all of his tires,and knocked out all of the glass in his truck. he never turned her in until 18mo. ago so please pray for these grls because they are the ones who suffering the most there daddy is gone forever,and mommy is jail for his murder. also know their is a hole lot more to this story than you can ever imanage or know.

Dana & Toney were married 9-9-1999 before the year ended Dana who weight about 95 pds. had black eyes and knots all over her head and he had no marks on him. when you are abused so many times like having your ear almost ripped off and having a hammer took to her face and a sledgehammer took to her ankle. She was also choked and it left hand marks on her neck. She also could not take her children to school because he didn't want people to see want he had done to her. so he would have to take them to school. As far as her father is concerned we both would get put in jail for domestic more than once her father bailed them both out. He also cosigned for him to borrow money. He would stay at his in-laws with there permmision take showers, eat. He missed alot of the oldest girl's b-days and didn't buy her gifts. dana and her family make sure they had a place to live,food & clothing. when Toney was there he did help pay the bills but he always took off alot.Dana & Toney loved each other but both sides tried to tell them they shouldn't be together because of all the incendints over the years. It was both of them and not one sided . You need to to know all the facts before you make a judgement.

What is great and tragic at the same time is that the little girls are old enough to know... They know more than all the people on here... they saw more than all the people on here...she will have her day(s) in court... and a jury of her peers will decide her fate... all this "he said she said" will not be accepted as facts into the case... only eye witness accounts of this abuse will be considered... aka "her black eyes" don't matter unless someone saw him punch her and other than the previous stab wound, none of his injuries count unless someone saw it....(the only reason his previous stab wound is considered is because she was convicted for it) So i guess we wait and see... she may get off for it... on earth... she will burn for it eventually... and for putting the girls in that situation i hope there is no mercy
