Missouri only has 9 full time state inspectors (MODA), there are 19 full time USDA inspectors in missouri. Kennels are inspected on a yearly basis by USDA, and a vet employed by the kennel. USDA does a good job, making sure the dogs have adqueate shelter, vet care, ect... Every kennel I have been in was clean, & the dogs have been in good general health. I'd like to see a news story about how a kennel is actually ran. Everything clean & santized, the close relationship with vets, time & money invested by the breeders.
