'She still haunts us'

Full story: The Daily Advertiser

A child prostitute with no home and no real supervision, Alexuia Feast was the proverbial poster child for what can happen when the individuals and agencies who are supposed to protect children fail to do so.

Until you lose a child you will never know what it is to understand the loss or even the empty place at the dinner table.
The haunting is the fact that something so awful can befall a child that young.
The horror is that no one has the right to beat a child so severely that she perished.
Then left her like a piece of trash in those trees.
Yes they caught the murderers but what they did can never be undone.
This has left the family with the misery of her loss and the constant reminder of her death.
May God watch of this poor little angel and may she be allowed to Rest In Peace.

I know it wouldn't bring the child back but the first steps that piece of trash took outside the prison would have been his last.none of the 3 should be drawing a breath right now.I'M sure it could be done,Alexuia deserves that much.

The sad part is three grown men beat a little runaway girl to death.
A child who never stood a chance that dark night when the sexually and brutally accosted and murdered her.
The family are the ones paying the price everytime they sit down to dinner and her emplty place at the dinner table is a daily reminder of the horror that murder brings to a family.
The only good thing is that these guys will never see the light of day.
But at least in prison they will get to endure the knowledge that someone meaner and nastier is serving time with them.
They mess up and their new roomies will settle that problem.
