Bassett man pleads guilty to armed robbery
A Bassett man faces up to life, plus 50 years, in prison after pleading guilty to two charges and "no contest" to another in connection with an armed robbery at a Ferrum residence on Jan. 7. Charles Lawrence Gilmore, 31, pleaded guilty to robbery of a residence and breaking and entering while armed with a firearm.
