QC Schools Struggle With No Child Left Behind

Some Quad City schools are getting a failing federal grade. Seven districts in Rock Island County are not meeting the federal testing requirements of the No Child Left Behind law: United Township, Carbon Cliff-Barstow, East Moline, Moline, Rock Island, Riverdale and Sherrard.

Body Found In River Identified

Authorities have identified a man's body pulled Wednesday from the Rock River. The Rock Island County Coroner confirms it was 45 year old Robert B. Chaney of Colona, Illinois.
