Little scum bags should be forced to clean up all of the Inland Empire. Between these scum bags and the Mexican cholo gang bangers, the IE is looking more and more like LA. Sick little scumbag bastards.

It would be simple if the court system just used a little logic. When these guys given jail time, if any, they must remain in jail until the ten thousand in damage is repaired or restitution is paid for replacing it. They cannot get out of jail until their buddies or parents pay it. If their families or partners in crime don't come up with the money, then they don't get out. That would be justice. But of course our system would never do that, even though these guys are all adults. Nice thought though.

The punishment should be fitting to their crime. In addition to current punishment I believe a minimum of 2 additional years on a road gang cleaning up graffiti in the cities listed. This should be done 24 hours a day. As soon as there is a report they should arrive in shaclkles to clean up the mess. When there isn't any work they should be farmed out in the community as clean-up and painting crew for the needy.

No more free rides.

Or next time they are found, it may not be an SO, it may be a vigilante out doing some housework in the neighborhood. No great loss, and the vigilante has done the community a service by "cleaning up the mess." Watch what you're doing, or you may not hear the bullet coming.

Way to de-sensitize the news.
I guess it happens so much its easier to hear these terms instead of the truth..

Crews?
These people are vandals, not crews.

Tagging?
This is vandalism, not tagging.

Plain and simple - they deface things that don't belong to them.

When I hear the word crew I think of people who actually work and bring good to a community.
Someone please tell me how vandalizing a sign or property is furthering a community?

Lets not give any more credence to these vandals by using their terms.
Nothing will change until people change the way the look at this type of vandalism and voice that they've had enough.

FINALLY CAUGHT SOME OF THAT SCUM. Let's just hope they make them all pay equally with dollars and cents as well as the actual labor of repairing what they destroyed. If they don't get done right the first time, have them do it over and over till it is done right. Like new, like it was before they screwed it up. Oh and make them use the same tools and harnesses they used to deface the signs. If they happen to fall off and get struck by traffic, trains or teed-off people with weapons, OH WELL!!!
After all that ship them off to the nearest war if they are citizens, if not citizens, deport them with any and all family they may have. They need to know what their relatives did to them too.

The justice system is soft because we as taxpayers are not going to build prisons to house every person arrested and committed of a crime. As soon as taxpayers say we'll foot the bill to incarcerate every misdemeanor, we'll have space for everyone. We don't even have enough prisons for felons.

Tagging is an art form. I am a former tagger, and grew out of it to be a succesful adult working during the day for a marketing company and going to school at night to be an urban planner. Considering how ugly, over grown, and littered the ten corridor is some nice art would be a breath of fresh air.

Painting is art. Music is art. Spray painting your gang moniker on property you don't own is vandalism.

Perhaps we should send these guys over to your house for an "art" party?

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Aquarius

Diplomacy is your middle name today, so make the most of it while it lasts. It will be just what you need if you've been waiting for the right time to raise a tricky topic with you-know-who, and it will also come in handy if you're caught up in a potentially sensitive conversation with someone and you want to extricate yourself as smoothly as possible.
