10 YEARS Albert L. Gibbs of Lancaster faced bigamy charges that he had a wife in Germany of one in Lancaster. 20 YEARS An ice storm felled utility lines in Fairfield County as Ohio Power Co. officials said 3,500 customers were without electric power, while South Central Power Co. said 19,000 customers were effected by the storm. Brian Simpson, Baltimore, was presented with the League of Ohio Sportsman and The National Wildlife Federation Conservation Educator of the Year Award. 30 YEARS Thieves entered Millersport Feed and Grain mill on state Route 204 and stole $250 in work gloves. Thieves burglarized several parked cars on Lancaster's West side and stole a gamut of items. 40 YEARS Al Russell retired after 25 years of service with the Lancaster fire department and devoted his time to his sign painting business. Lancaster police investigated a burglary at Schwendeman and Cook drug store, 149 W. Main St., where drugs were stolen, including morphine. Today is Tuesday, March 4, the 64th day of 2008.
