I think it is great that someone has decided to convert what we would throw away and fill the landfills into energy that we can use.

One thing that I don't agree with is the Carbon Credits program. If you think about it, it is snake oil. A company that produces too much carbon will buy credits from a company that sells them. Where does the money come from? It comes from the added cost the producer adds to the items it sells (or redistributes) and eventually you and I (the consumers) pay for it. Where does the money end up. In the hands of those who "don't produce enough carbon foot print". In other words, it's a shell game for your and me and we loose our money, whether we decide to play or not, with higher prices.

I wonder how much of this carbon credit "snake oil" are we paying with the higher gas prices ($4/g and up)?
