Another case of a neglecful parent not watching their kids and letting them do whatever the heck they want to do. This guy should be strung up and left swinging for letting these kids run around unattended and playing in the dumper of his truck. What a moron. This was all for nothing but in the name of stupidity. This boy died for no reason at all. Why don't parents/guardians & caregivers watch their kids? What is wrong with people these days? Seems like everytime a kid dies around N. TX it's cuz of some stupid adult not being attentive and doing what they should be doing...watching their minor children and sticking to them like velcro. My God it's epidemic around here. There should be strict laws for deaths like this. Maybe if parents/guardians, etc., started getting carted off to prison more might wise up. Another needless and termed "accidental" death. Man, N. TX is full of "accidental" deaths. That's all you see them as classified. These people make me ill & are total LOSERS and ZEROS. Pay attention to your kids and keep an eye on them and they wouldn't die. Turn your back and they'll be gone in a flash. If you don't want to watch them, then give up your parental rights...now. At least the kid will have a chance at survival.

I agree if parents watch their children at all times then deaths of childrenin the us will most likely decrease. But in the same sentence you can't just put it all on the parents you should take consideration that the children should know better than to do something so stupid even if they didnt know that one of them was going to die. They should go beyond all the fun and look at the possibilities or the consequences. In this case the consequence was death. I know this is sad trust me he was my friend. I'm sad that this happened but I think this was the only way to prove to Edwin, his brother, and all the other children that even though there isn't a parent supervision you should think about what your parents would say to you in this situation.

We teach our children to use caution and be safe. We cannot watch them every second of the day/night. As parents we do our best to ensure our kids are safe, but accidents happen, in the home, the yard, neighbors home, school, etc.
I'm sure that IF the parents believed that this type of behavior would have the results that it did, it would have been stopped.
Bad things happen, it's a part of life and sadly its the young ones who lose their lives.
Please watch your kids and always expect the worst to happen. God said he would fill his heaven, even if it is filled with babies.

Why were children on a job site? Did OSHA get involved? It could end up badly for everyone involved.
